My name is Alyssa although my students call me Miss Alyssa, and I am driven by a lifelong passion for helping others unlock their full potential through understanding. My journey into professional tutoring has been shaped by a diverse career path, most notably my time spent as a paraprofessional and my experience working with a tutoring agency. These roles allowed me to wear many hats—mentor, strategist, and educator—giving me the tools to bridge the gap between complex concepts and clear, actionable knowledge.

I am thrilled to bring this wealth of experience to my independent practice, where I support learners of all ages, from children to adults. I firmly believe that it is never too late to learn and that with the right combination of time, dedication, and personalized guidance, anyone can achieve their goals. When I’m not tutoring, I’m usually busy being a mom to two beautiful children, an auntie to many nieces and nephews, and pursuing my own educational goals as I work toward a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I’m a firm believer in being a lifelong learner myself; in my downtime, you’ll find me diving into a new book, exploring a wide variety of subjects just for fun, or leveling up in a video game. I also love to recharge by heading out into nature. I bring that same energy and curiosity to our sessions, proving that whether you're balancing a family, a degree, or a hobby, there’s always room to grow!
